• Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

• Grief counseling

How can therapy help with trauma and relationship challenges?

As a child, your experience inform narratives about yourself and the world around you. If your childhood included abandonment, invisibility or high levels of unpredictable emotional expression, your response and the view you have of others create a narrative that you carry as an adult.

Examples:
High emotionality in childhood creates people pleasers
Feelings of abandonment can produce negative self-worth or chasing others who only serve themselves
Feeling unheard or invisible can result in social anxiety, sensitivity to feedback, avoidance of spotlight situations, and low desire for advancement professionally

These narratives can lead to romantic relationships that repeat patterns to fulfill these needs or cycles that confirm them to be true. Professional choices where advancement or success is based on people pleasing rather than confidence in skill and own contributions.

Jaspreet is able to explore repeating patterns, narratives that you have internalized and challenge thoughts you have accepted as limiting truths. She has a specialization in treating states of anxiety that occur as a result of these cycles and can help you with functional skills to utilize immediately as you rewrite these beliefs in a self-compassionate manner for long term success.
